As we seen, NSFT claims to not have enough money to even hire a church hall, to properly staff hostels or fund services the NHS England clinical director for mental health says NSFT should provide. But there never seems to be any problem funding ‘leadership events’ or IT projects.
Yes, the intranet revamp really did cost £122,208. Honestly. We were told in response to an FOI. It is that supplier Cloud2 Limited again, of disappearing website fame. 40 days of training for £732 per day – bargain!
“Supplier – Cloud2 Limited
SharePoint Cost £80,928.00
Project Management Cost £12,000.00
SharePoint Training cost £29,280.00 (40 days training provision)
Total Cost £122,208.00″
Whether you use mental health services, are a carer or member of staff, let us know your stories: we’re stronger together.
I do wonder if anyone from the campaign can tell me what a reasonable cost for a Trust intranet would be, run on SharePoint…
£25000. Now get lost you duck faced prick
Name calling really! Very grown up, always the basis of informed debate! I asked a serious question provoking debate, I didn’t ask for name calling, oh and on that subject I find your name exceptionally objectionable.
Actually, you didn’t. You made a statement. If it had been a serious question it would have ended in a question mark rather than a full stop.
+1
You should also be aware that this is the third, yes third!! Incarnation of the trusts intranet.. You should put in a FOI for the total spent on the intranet. Oh and you maybe interested in a FOI request for money spent on MS Project Server 2010… And what happened with it.
Please feel free to email me for more info
You might also ask how much the MS Exchange 2010 email project is costing and why cash strapped NSFT is not using the NHS.net email alternative which is FREELY PROVIDED by the DoH and is approved for securely exchanging patient information with other NHS Trusts and Government Agencies, unlike the in house systems
