Audio: BBC Radio Norfolk told by carer: “The trust [NSFT] in general treat their staff like rubbish… they really do… it’s no wonder days are lost because they’re stressed”

A Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) carer, Catherine, rang BBC Radio Norfolk this morning and told journalist Louise Priest what she thinks about the way NSFT staff are treated. You can listen to the audio below.

“Very good, very well qualified, very conscientious and hardworking people… well and truly overworked.”

“Recently, we had a very good, hardworking CPN… she often would come here and her working day should have finished at five but she would overrun giving the attention to her patients… she was very dedicated in her job… takes paperwork home at night… looks extremely tired.”

“Another very, very good CPN… couldn’t fault her… hardworking and dedicated… she took voluntary redundancy because she’d had enough of what she was seeing within the service.”

“The trust [NSFT] in general treat their staff like rubbish… they really do… it’s no wonder days are lost because they’re stressed.”
