Video: Clive Lewis MP raises Alexander Report into devastating cuts at NSFT with Prime Minister

“Norfolk and Suffolk NHS mental health trust which serves my constituency is refusing to publish the so called ‘Alexander Report’ into its operations. The report, which I’ve seen, raises serious questions about patient safety and care, due to cuts to services.

“Does the Prime Minister agree with me that the duty of candour should apply equally to NHS management as it does to NHS frontline staff and, if so, will join me to call for its publication?”

  1. Any reasonable person would think that faced with this kind of scrutiny NSFT would come clean and publish. Bravo to Clive Lewis for standing up for patients.

I wonder what weasel words Mr Scott will use to evade this?

  2. Sorry, lost the page. I agree with all that has been said about the patients’ care. But would like to say what about the staff the staff that are attacked and are unable to work anymore? The NHS does not take responsibility for this as I myself found out. I have had to be retired on ill health since Dec 2014. The NHS decrees what kind of pension you get they have no idea of the pain and suffering that has gone into my life so far. But still they send invoices to me asking for money which I do not have. Someone should be looking at the injured staff and the problems they have – it is not just the patients that get treated badly.
