Healthwatch Suffolk and Suffolk User Forum have organised a meeting to give initial feedback on their survey of those who rely on mental health services in Suffolk:
“Our initial survey results show that in some key areas services have not improved since the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust was placed in special measures by Monitor”
You can still complete the survey by clicking here.
The poster with details of the meeting, which takes place between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the East of England Co-op Education Centre in Ipswich, is below. If you want to attend, email Claire Lee to book your place or call 01473 329307.
Healthwatch Suffolk has consistently attempted to hold Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) to account.
Wouldn’t it be fantastic if Norfolk had a genuine ‘consumer champion for health and social care’ like Healthwatch Suffolk? Instead, there’s Healthwatch Norfolk which managed to ignore the crisis in mental health services despite receiving more than £600,000 from Norfolk County Council every year to fund its eight staff. That’s £75,000 per person.
