Jenny Kirk of the BBC reports:
The number of ‘unexpected deaths’ at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) has more than doubled in just four years.
Whilst CRHT was in meltdown and transportation of people in distress grew out of control, @stuartr70 was busy finding himself a new £90k+ deputy who was at the heart of the radical redesign fiasco and is a shameful appointment. Front line staff leaving @NSFTtweets as result. twitter.com/NSFTCrisis/sta…
We have no desire to be proved right at such a high cost in human misery and lives. Which is why we warned @warren_nsft and @MarieELFT as soon as they started. It is not 'shaming'. It is holding managers who are trousering six figure salaries from NHS coffers to account. twitter.com/CarolineAldrid…
@CarolineAldrid5 @NSFTtweets @warren_nsft @MarieELFT Sorry, @CarolineAldrid5 but they created it. @stuartr70 dismantled the team which was managing OOA and destroyed morale in the CRHT with usual clueless @NSFTtweets macho management. This, plus the focus on radical restructure, politics and existing lack of beds caused crisis.
@CarolineAldrid5 @NSFTtweets @warren_nsft @MarieELFT The useless managerial class at @NSFTtweets became even more obsessed than usual with playing politics and this disaster for patient care was the consequence. The radical restructure is a disaster. We warned @MarieELFT and @warren_nsft BEFORE it happened but they let it continue
@CarolineAldrid5 @NSFTtweets @warren_nsft @MarieELFT The Chief Operating Officer @stuartr70 will whine that he is 'new' but these figures relate to his eighth month in charge and are three times worse than when he started. They are also a direct consequence of the meltdown he caused in the crisis teams and his pushing out rivals.
