  1. A largely inconclusive report from the BBC… Investigating NSFT will never resolve the issues because the incompetent managers are competent at one thing – masking the truth. Theycare spectacularly good at not listening and appointing clinical leaders with no idea of collaborating with service users and carers. My  frail elderly relative spent 9 months in anothet out of area facility costing (the ordinary person) ££5000 a week. Apparently his needs were unable to met in Suffolk….in spite of the brand new eldetly facility purpose bulit on the General Hospital site.   NOBODY really listens in NSFT especially to front line staffI wonder if Monitor will????

  2. No, I disagree. Monitor’s not some Trust crony who can be threatened or bullied into covering up. This time the senior managers will be held to account. They’ve screwed up just about every initiative and people are dying or in absolute misery because of them. I suspect a few heads will roll and not before time!

  4. But while management are absorbed in presenting themselves in the best possible light to Monitor, they won’t be giving attention to the unmet  needs of  patients. I expect this to add once again to the delay in getting treatment
