Mental Health Action Group members have done some incredible and tedious work sending out Freedom Of Information letters to every single ICB (Integrated Care Board) in the country to investigate recovery rates, drop out numbers and how effective the treatment actually is. It also questions why the target achievements recorded are not accurate. Here are the open letters for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and Norfolk and Waveney areas.
The Mental Health Action Group said:
“We are in the process of writing open letters to every ICB on the waste of resources that talking therapies represent. We will be building a case for some of this funding to go into community mental provision of different kinds – more responsive to the communities’ needs than this highly regimented system of behavioural therapies.” https://mentalhealthaction.uk
The responses from Integrated Care Board’s, Talking Therapy services, scrutiny committees and some MP’s will then be collated for taking next steps. This should hopefully lead to presentations to highlight the shocking failure of Talking Therapies, hidden behind the NHS propaganda of an innovative, highly successful service.

We will post the replies when they come in
