Who Owns our NHS?
Our NHS is steadily being destroyed. Since 2010, £10 billion of contracts have been sold off to the private sector and more are on their way. Even cancer care and end of life care are being put out to tender. Both N&N and Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust have applied to become “mutuals” taking our local hospitals out of the public sector. In the “Five Year Forward View”, Simon Stevens, boss of NHS England and ex-boss of United Health, intends to impose “new care models”.
