Sister campaigns: itv NEWS Anglia – Health campaigners win fight over Lifeworks closure plans

Congratulations to all those involved in saving Lifeworks in Cambridge. We should have posted this sooner.

Click on the image to visit the itv website and watch the video.

Warning: this video contains potentially distressing images of Aidan Thomas, former chief executive of Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) and initiator of the massive ‘radical redesign’ cuts process which he claimed were going to be ‘improvements’. Aidan Thomas is now the chief executive of Cambridge & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) which is the only trust in England to achieve worse results in the NHS Staff Survey than NSFT.

  1. He reminds me of someone who has completely no idea of what they are doing………….Weren’t his reasons for leaving NSFT ‘because it was too far away from his home in Essex and NSFT was too big a trust for him to manage‘…….So Cambridge must be smaller and nearer…..ooopps. Nothing to do with the monumental mess of Radical Redesign then.????
