EDP: Call to arms over Norwich mental health march

David Powles of the EDP reports:

A campaign group is calling on the public to show their concerns about mental health services in the county by taking part in a protest march.

The Campaign to Save Mental Health Services in Norfolk and Suffolk has organised the protest on Saturday, January 16 from the steps of Norwich City Hall at 11am.

It comes as mental health services in the region are facing the strain following multi-million pound cuts and the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust being placed into special measures.

Organisers say they want as many people as possible to turn out to show health bosses locally and nationally the strength of feeling about the issues people with mental health conditions face.
